I'm ordering the Taoist Lovemaking DVD's next week and am curious if part of the training includes using the Beaters too, and if so how does it help? Also what's the difference between the large and small Beaters? For example would a large man use the large Beaters as opposed to a smaller man (such as myself) using the smaller one? I've only seen these mentioned in one other book by Yang Jwing Ming (Bone Marrow Washing) and have never seen them sold anywhere.

Hi Wanderer, thank for joining. Just to let you know the love making dvd's do not teach how to do Shih Shui. They do teach everything thing else, which there is a lot of (believe me). The Shih Shui is to dangerous to learn over a video. You need a teacher there with you, to make sure you are doing things right other wise you can do some serious irreversible damage. Their is a video of James McNeil performing Shih Shui in the love making video's. He also does private lessons in California for those interested.

I can certainly understand the obvious danger of hanging weights from one's penis, but what exactly are the Beaters used for?

The Beaters are an important part of the Shih Shui. The same training as the weight swinging.

There should be some students are here that have done it. I haven't myself, but I have a lot of friends from the school who have. I'd rather have them post their experiences, instead of me relaying what they have told me.
